The "Sweetest Taboo" is the height of sexual pleasure. In this song, Sade sings lovingly about a man who gets her there. With him, every day is Christmas, every night is New Year's Eve. To paint this piece I listened to Is it a Crime, Sweetest Taboo and Never as Good as the first time from the album Promise released in 1985. The power of Nostalgia was strong for me on this one because I was 15 when this hit the radio waves.
